Tim founded Proctor Company in 1982. He offers a wealth of expertise in specialized tax, professional practice valuation, practice management and accounting services for dentists, physicians and other professionals. Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants. While with Proctor Company, he spent 12 years with Professional Value Corporation in its dental practice brokerage and valuation services, including litigation support. He is co-author of Buying or Selling a Dental Practice, is recognized as an expert in dental practice valuations by the courts and speaks extensively on dental practice valuations and management. Tim has been happily married for over 35 years, has one grown daughter, and is wildly passionate about world travel.
Tanya is highly knowledgeable of the workings of small business, especially health care. She offers expertise in tax for individuals and corporations, and is a highly experienced consultant for small business owners in the areas of tax, financial statements and projections, with a passion for helping her clients “save a buck.” Tanya joined Proctor Company in 1998, and offers over 17 years’ experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia and her master’s degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University in Seattle. Born in mainland China, Tanya grew up and was educated in Canada; she continues to hold a practicing license as a chartered accountant in Canada.
Steve is highly experienced in tax planning for partnerships,
corporations, and individuals, and specializes in tax issues for family partnerships and limited liability companies. He helps start-up businesses with budgets, cash flow, forecasts and business development plans and has exceptional experience in health care professions. He successfully supports individuals and business clients in their efforts to negotiate and lower their tax in audit by federal and state agencies. Steve received his bachelor’s degree in Social Science in 1987 at the University of Hong Kong, his master’s degree in Professional Accounting at the University of Washington. He joined Proctor Company in 1997. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
