Mileage Reimbursement Rates change 7/1/2011

The IRS has increased the standard mileage rates for the final six months of 2011 to 55.5 cents for business miles. To see the new rate tables for other mileage, click here.

Heath Care Reform Legislation

Independent Contractor or Employee?  If you are uncertain whether the individuals providing services for you are employees or independent contractors, please read the attached rules.  Independent Contractor?


Auto Mileage Reimbursment Changes. The IRS has announced that beginning January 1, 2010 the reimbursement rate for Business auto mileage will change to $.50 per mile; Medical or moving is $.165 per mile; and Charitable organizations is $.14 per mile.

IRS Tax Return Refunds.  If you file a paper return, expect to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get your refund check. However, if you choose to E-file your tax return and use Direct Deposit, you should expect to receive your refund in 2 to 3 weeks. Ask us how you can e-file your tax return.
